A home for an artist

When you create a home for an artist, the light has to be right.

Our task was to take the existing house and open it to capture the ever-changing light and view of Rocquaine Bay.

What was once a maze of rooms, cut off from its surroundings, now flows effortlessly from kitchen to dining to living space — every room connected, and every angle framing the sea outside.

The colour of the landscape spills indoors, reflected in the soft blue palette that runs throughout the home — a subtle nod to Mediterranean style and the light the owner loves most.

Now, from almost every spot in the house, there’s a view of the ocean — daily inspiration for those who live here.
