A home for a charity
This project proves that utilitarian spaces don’t have to feel institutional.
Designed for a frontline charity supporting people in recovery, this project called for interiors that felt calm, comforting, and restorative - without the blandness of many community spaces.
We designed three therapy rooms, two private offices and a shared waiting area that strikes a balance between openness and privacy, using upright timber slats to define the space.
The palette? Nature-inspired: soft greens, real wood, and mossy textures to give a calming not clinical feel. Textured walls, warm finishes and bold colour-blocking add energy without overwhelming the senses. Every detail works hard — softening sound, catching the eye, lifting the mood.
